Key Features
🚀 Powerful ESP32-S3 Processing
Powered by the ESP32-S3 microcontroller, featuring a dual-core Xtensa LX7 32-bit processor operating at up to 240 MHz. The platform supports responsive control logic, embedded applications, and network-connected automation tasks.
📶 Wi-Fi & Bluetooth 5 LE Connectivity
Integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy provide convenient wireless connectivity for IoT applications, device configuration, data exchange, and remote monitoring.
🌐 Ethernet with PoE Support
The onboard W5500 Ethernet controller provides wired network connectivity at 10/100 Mbps through an SPI interface. The Ethernet port supports Power over Ethernet compliant with IEEE 802.3af, helping simplify installation where a compatible PoE network source is available.
🔌 8 Isolated Digital Outputs
Control external equipment through eight open-collector digital output channels. Each channel supports a maximum sink current of 500 mA, making the board suitable for interfacing with compatible control circuits, relays, and other industrial loads.
Optocoupler isolation helps protect the controller from electrical interference. Integrated freewheeling diode protection helps manage inductive load transients when used as specified by the manufacturer.
Output specifications:
-
8 digital output channels
-
Open-collector output type
-
Load current: up to 500 mA per channel
-
Supported output voltage range: 5–40 V
-
Optocoupler isolation
Observe the manufacturer's wiring instructions and load limitations. The 500 mA rating is a per-channel maximum, not necessarily a guaranteed simultaneous total for all eight channels.
📥 8 Flexible Digital Inputs
Connect external switches, sensors, and control signals through eight bidirectionally optocoupler-isolated digital input channels.
The inputs support both passive and active signal configurations, including compatible NPN- and PNP-type devices.
-
8 digital input channels
-
Input voltage range: 5–36 V
-
Passive and active input support
-
Bidirectional optocoupler isolation
🏭 Industrial RS485 & CAN Interfaces
Integrate the controller with compatible industrial equipment, sensors, and expansion modules using isolated RS485 and CAN interfaces.
-
RS485: Suitable for compatible Modbus RTU devices and industrial communication networks.
-
CAN: Enables connection to compatible CAN-based devices and systems.
-
Interface protection: TVS diode protection against specified transient and electrostatic events.
-
Termination: Reserved 120 Ω matching resistors, disabled by default and configurable using jumper caps.
Isolation helps reduce the impact of electrical interference between external interfaces and the main control circuitry.
⚡ Flexible Power Supply
Choose the power input method that suits your installation.
The integrated isolated power circuitry supplies the isolated interface terminals without requiring a separate external power supply for those isolated circuits, subject to the board's specified operating conditions.
⏰ Real-Time Clock for Scheduled Tasks
An onboard RTC clock chip supports time-based operations, scheduling, and automation routines. This is useful for applications requiring timed control or event logging; time retention and synchronization depend on the board's RTC backup arrangement and software configuration.
💾 MicroSD Storage & Expansion Headers
The onboard MicroSD card slot provides additional storage for supported files, logs, and application data. Header pins allow integration with compatible peripherals and custom hardware extensions.
💡 Clear Status Indicators & Audible Feedback
Monitor operating conditions through onboard status components:
-
RGB indicator: Customizable color indication
-
PWR: Red power-status indicator when USB power is detected
-
TXD: Green transmission indicator for RS485/CAN activity
-
RXD: Blue reception indicator for RS485/CAN activity
-
Buzzer: Audible feedback for supported applications
🛠️ USB-C Development & Debugging
The USB Type-C port supports board power, USB communication, and firmware downloading, simplifying development, programming, and troubleshooting.
🧰 DIN-Rail Mounting for Industrial Installations
The protective enclosure is designed for DIN-rail mounting, helping organize the controller inside compatible control cabinets and automation panels.
