2. The kit features a built-in step-down module that converts the vehicle's 12V–30V DC input into a stable 5V DC output; it also includes an adjustable low-voltage protection function to prevent excessive battery discharge.
3. A DIP switch on the side of the unit (with Left/Middle/Right settings) allows for the adjustment of the low-voltage protection threshold; moving the switch from left to right progressively lowers the protection voltage cutoff.
4. The red wire connects to the ACC fuse slot (controlled by the ignition switch), while the yellow wire connects to the constant power (Bat+) fuse slot. This setup allows the device to continue operating via constant power after the engine is turned off to provide parking monitoring; the device automatically cuts off power when the battery voltage drops to the set threshold, thereby protecting the battery.
5. The unit is equipped with a red LED digital display that shows the real-time input voltage (e.g., 12.8V, 24.4V), making it easy to monitor the vehicle battery's status.
